FDD+TDD Hybrid Solutions

Rosenberger has developed several TDD beam-forming antennas and hybrid FDD+TDD antennas consisting of 8T8R TDD antennas with 4 ports of FDD low band. Various FDD port configurations are possible, such as 4 ports for low band and 6 ports for high band. The TDD array in this 18-port antenna may operate in B40 (2,300 MHz), B41 (2,500 MHz), or B42/B43 (3,500 MHz band).

Based on the SMA connector standard, Rosenberger QMA connectors are designed for applications up to 18 GHz. The quick-lock mechanism enables easy and reliable connections in the tightest of spaces – primarily in mobile base stations – and 10 times faster compared to SMA offerings. Packing density is also superior to SMA due to the minimum pitch and toolless connection, dispensing with the need for torque spanners for fastening coupling nuts. Rosenberger offers QMA as standard version and with plastic quick-lock mechanisms in four different color codings. QMA is not intermateable with SMA.

Rosenberger RPC-7 “hermaphroditic” connectors with 7 mm diameter at outer contact are designed for precision measurements up to 18 GHz and are suitable for semi-rigid cables and microwave components. Mating electrically with center and outer conductor by end-surface (butt) contact, the mechanical connection is designed as a counter-sinkable threaded socket. For total flexibility, these low reflection connectors are intermateable with all common 7 mm series connectors including APC-7, PC-7, GPC-7 or Precifix AA. Furthermore, RPC-7 and RPC-N connector heads are interchangeable using the same bead type. The wide product range comprises connectors and connector heads, adaptors, interchangeable port connectors, airlines as well as test & measurement accessories such as RPC-7 calibration and verification kits, test cables, attenuators or measurement equipment (open – short – load).
