Rosenberger’s new RPC-1.35* precision connector series meets the growing demand for precision, high-performance RF-connections up to 90 GHz. The range addresses the expanding market for 5G, industrial sensors in the E-Band, millimeter wave sensors for self-driving vehicles, WLAN IEEE 802.11ax and 802.11ay. RPC-1.35 connectors offer a highly robust mechanical design, minimum 3000 mating cycles, high connector repeatability, and maximum return loss values – ideal for ensuring RF measurements in the E-Band without delays. The product portfolio covers semi-rigid and flexible cable assemblies, PCB connectors, test PCBs, cable connectors, in-series and inter-series adaptors, test ports, floating and waveguide-to-coaxial adaptors as well as gauge and calibration kits. *A working group, comprising PTB (Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt), Rosenberger, Rohde & Schwarz and Spinner, designed the new 1.35 mm connector to close the gap between 1.85 mm and 1.00 mm connectors. The interface standardization is in progress.

The RosenbergerHPD® universal multicore datalink connection system is optimized for data transmission up to 10 Gbps. In addition to high data performance, the centrally positioned power lane offers a power reserve of up to 100 W / 5 A – in combination with the cable shield as the ground lane. Providing data and power to complex systems through a single interface delivers several benefits including reduced costs and installation footprint. This robust, fully shielded connector is ideally suited to harsh environmental conditions, such as automotive applications, where frequent high data transmission and ampacity is required. Combined with Rosenberger’s specially designed multicore cable, featuring an optimized layout for low attenuation, virtually interference- and crosstalk-free performance is assured.

Rosenberger provides floating test adaptors for a number of standard RF test interfaces. Due to their self-finding design they are suitable for automated testing processes in laboratories, e.g. of couplers, splitters, antennas and other high-frequency devices. Radial and axial misalignment ensures safe contact with the DUT – without reducing the performance. The self-finding construction makes fast and easy connecting and disconnection processes – which means significant time and cost reductions.

Rosenberger snap-in Mini-Coax inserts for Metral-chassis card edge connections offer modular high packing densities due to their extremely small size. As well as Multiport Mini-Coax are available in multiple 2, 4, 6 and 8 channel variants. The Rosenberger HVR®300 connector system not only provides a maximum current carrying capacity of 320 A, it takes up minimal space. It features a 2-pole angled coupler for shielded cables and a cable cross section of 70 mm² along with the corresponding header. A cross section of 50 mm² is available on request. The lever locking mechanism is secured with an additional slider (CPA – Connector Position Assurance) to prevent accidental unmating.
