RosenbergerHSD® is a homogeneous impedance-controlled interconnect system which directly addresses the high-speed data, low-voltage requirements of real-time automotive industry applications. Extremely compact and durable this 100 Ohm fully shielded interconnect system utilizes shielded twisted quad cables and features mechanical keying and latching for high connection retention, as well as coding to avoid misuse. Furthermore, these precision manufactured RosenbergerHSD®SF variants are ideally suited for process-safe and fully automated assembly by harness makers, facilitating a significant reduction in costs. Its high data throughput performance while also preventing interference from crosstalk and external sources makes the RosenbergerHSD® cable and PCB connector system the perfect choice for LVDS cameras, USB connections and IEEE 1394 applications. In addition, it is well-suited to many other applications including those found in digital infotainment electronics and digital symmetrical networks – even radio base stations.

Rosenberger provides a variety of snap-in D-Sub coaxial and power inserts for fast, reliable mixed card edge chassis. Their small dimensions allow high packing densities as well as easy connection. A combination including power connectors is also available on request. D-Sub Coax Inserts and cable connectors 50 Ω are designed for use in mixed card edge connections in accordance to D-Sub. The maximum frequency is approximately 2 GHz. Available on request. Rosenberger RPC-SP 50 Ω precision connectors are designed for applications up to 22 GHz where quick and reliable interconnects are essential. Intermateable with OSP and BMA connectors, the floating construction allows compensation for axial and radial misalignment while the innovative blind mate self-finding mechanism ensures fast, easy connection and disconnection, bringing significant time and cost reductions. Furthermore, tightening the connection requires no additional tooling. RPC-SP connectors are therefore ideal for use where space is at a premium such as in many rack and plug-in applications.
