Rosenberger FAKRA* industry standard compatible connectors are designed to fulfill the rigorous mechanical and environmental requirements of the automotive industry. Ensuring maximum electrical and mechanical performance, these high quality FAKRA connectors feature specific color coded plastic housings in accordance with the FAKRA coding industry standard. Thirteen distinct mechanical and color codes enable easy identification and unique keying to avoid mis-mating and additional one neutral coding. Combining Rosenberger’s turned part production expertise and FAKRA SF stamped and formed technology these precision manufactured products are ideally suited for process-safe and fully automated assembly by harness makers – leading to a significant reduction in production costs. Rosenberger FAKRA products are compliant to ISO 20860-1 & 2 and USCAR 18 standards.

Rosenberger provides a variety of snap-in D-Sub coaxial and power inserts for fast, reliable mixed card edge chassis. Their small dimensions allow high packing densities as well as easy connection. A combination including power connectors is also available on request. D-Sub Coax Inserts and cable connectors 50 Ω are designed for use in mixed card edge connections in accordance to D-Sub. The maximum frequency is approximately 2 GHz. Available on request. Rosenberger RPC-1.85 precision connectors – with 50 Ω impedance and 1.85 mm outer conductor diameter – are designed for test & measurement applications up to 70 GHz. Delivering outstanding reliability and repeatability performance they are intermateable with common 1.85 mm series and V connectors as well as with RPC-2.40 connectors. This comprehensive product range is suitable for semi-rigid cables and microwave components and includes cable, panel and PCB connectors, adaptors and test & measurement accessories – including RPC-1.85 calibration kits, cables assemblies, measurement equipment, attenuators, sliding loads and airlines.

Rosenberger RPC-3.50 precision connectors, with an outer diameter of 3.50 mm, are air dielectric and include ruggedized versions. Their high specification ensures excellent performance in precision measurement microwave applications – over the full frequency range up to 26.5 GHz. They are intermateable with common 3.50 mm, SMA, K and RPC-2.92 connectors.
