Rosenberger’s new EBC® (Efficient Board Connector) series is the ideal 5G board-to-board and board-to-module RF interconnect solution for active MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) antennas and radios. Outstanding performance, low cost design and high mechanical stability make EBC® the perfect future-proof product for 5G radio interconnections. For applications up to 8 GHz, EBC® connectors fulfill the challenging requirements caused by the exponential data volumes increases in future 5G networks. Essential characteristics include extremely small dimensions, radial and axial misalignments, different holding forces, minimum board-to-board distances, and fast and cost-effective assembly design. A key mechanical design feature is the locating side which is integrated in the bullet. One side has a smooth bore, while the other has a limited-detent design. The single PCB coupler provides a consistent footprint with preloaded outer contacts for ensuring contact optimization, the push/snap-on locking mechanism allows fast and easy disconnection.

Rosenberger high-temperature connectors are generally used in engine compartments, boilers and ovens. These durable, resilient and customized connector systems are suitable for temperatures up to +450 °C. Rosenberger has the know-how of performing thermal and electrical simulations as well as processing high-temperature-proof materials such as ceramics and stainless steel. Different components including cable assemblies, housing connectors and matched antenna systems are developed in close cooperation with our customers and partners. Rosenberger H-MTD® is a 360° fully shielded differential connector system for Ethernet applications. The newly developed system has successfully combined high-performance data transmission, of up to 15 GHz or 20 Gbps, in a compact yet robust automotive grade housing. Apart from ensuring high-bitrate data transmission, savings on installation space and weight, a further major advantage of this connector system is its modularity, providing the flexibility to support a wide range of Ethernet applications and industry protocols. Among others, this makes the Rosenberger H-MTD® highly suited for use by those designing solutions for the automotive industries.

Rosenberger provides SMA, BNC and TNC reverse polarity connectors. These coaxial connectors are non-standardized versions, offering interfaces similar to the standard but with center contacts and dielectricum reversed; for use with W-LAN routers when safeguarding against the possibility of incorrect component connection.
