Following the revision of the IEC 61169-24 interface standard in response to the increasing performance demands of the broadcast television sector, Rosenberger has fundamentally revised its F-interface calibration elements. The considerably improved characteristics include an extended frequency range, from DC to 4 GHz up to DC to 6 GHz, and a doubling of mating cycles from 500 to 1000. The new 6 GHz-spectrum F series from Rosenberger comprises calibration adaptors, calibration loads, opens, shorts and loads. A new “full range” calibration adaptor is also available, addressing the extremely wide male connector pin tolerances of 0.64 mm to 1.13 mm.

The Rosenberger NEX10® connector system meets the existing and future infrastructure efficiency demands of small cell applications and 5G mobile networks. For frequencies up to 20 GHz, the new robust and highly compact NEX10® interface standard provides safe, easy and damage-free connection while minimizing interference from PIM (Passive Intermodulation). Screw-type and a push-pull locking mechanism are available. Rosenberger RPC-N precision connectors – with screw-on locking mechanism – are designed for applications 50 Ω up to 18 GHz, 75 Ω up to 4 GHz. RPC-N 50 Ω are intermateable with standard N 50 Ω connectors, RPC-N 75 Ω are intermateable with standard N 75 Ω connectors. Rosenberger RPC-N 50 Ω and RPC-7 connector heads are interchangeable using the same bead type.

Rosenberger provides a wide product range of solderless PCB connectors for challenging test & measure­ment demands and for frequencies up to 110 GHz. These PCB connectors can easily be assembled by using screws. Standard screws are included, optional screws for thicker PCBs are available on request.
