Rosenberger SnapN coaxial connectors are ideal for space-constrained mobile base station applications up to 11 GHz. The outer diameter of 16 mm – smaller than the standard N interface – allows higher packing densities while the special quick-lock mechanism enables reliable and easy connections – 10 times faster than Standard N. SnapN jacks (female) and Standard N plugs (male) are intermateable. Assembly tools are not necessary.

Based on the SMA connector standard, Rosenberger QMA connectors are designed for applications up to 18 GHz. The quick-lock mechanism enables easy and reliable connections in the tightest of spaces – primarily in mobile base stations – and 10 times faster compared to SMA offerings. Packing density is also superior to SMA due to the minimum pitch and toolless connection, dispensing with the need for torque spanners for fastening coupling nuts. Rosenberger offers QMA as standard version and with plastic quick-lock mechanisms in four different color codings. QMA is not intermateable with SMA.

The cable construction is similar for all cable sizes: Inner conductor, foam dielectric, outer conductor and outer jacket. The cables are available as standard with either a PE jacket for outdoor installations or in a flame retardant and halogen-free version to comply with indoor requirements for health and safety, IEC 60332 and CPR-EN 50575.
