Rosenberger FAKRA* industry standard compatible connectors are designed to fulfill the rigorous mechanical and environmental requirements of the automotive industry. Ensuring maximum electrical and mechanical performance, these high quality FAKRA connectors feature specific color coded plastic housings in accordance with the FAKRA coding industry standard. Thirteen distinct mechanical and color codes enable easy identification and unique keying to avoid mis-mating and additional one neutral coding. Combining Rosenberger’s turned part production expertise and FAKRA SF stamped and formed technology these precision manufactured products are ideally suited for process-safe and fully automated assembly by harness makers – leading to a significant reduction in production costs. Rosenberger FAKRA products are compliant to ISO 20860-1 & 2 and USCAR 18 standards.

Rosenberger provides a variety of snap-in D-Sub coaxial and power inserts for fast, reliable mixed card edge chassis. Their small dimensions allow high packing densities as well as easy connection. A combination including power connectors is also available on request. D-Sub Coax Inserts and cable connectors 50 Ω are designed for use in mixed card edge connections in accordance to D-Sub. The maximum frequency is approximately 2 GHz. Available on request. Power Inserts meet the requirements of DIN 41626-T1 and are designed for use in mixed card edge connections in accordance to DIN 41612 or D-Sub. Contact current 10 A, 20 A, 30 A, 40 A. Rosenberger RPC-1.00 precision connectors – with 50 Ω impedance and 1.00 mm outer diameter – can be used for challenging test & measurement applications up to 110 GHz. They are characterized by excellent technical data over the full frequency range, meet the highest levels of reliability and repeatability of performance, and are intermateable with common 1.00 mm connectors. The standard portfolio covers flexible and semi-rigid cable assemblies, adaptors and PCB connectors. Waveguide-to-coaxial adaptors and gauge kits are also available. Customer-specific cable assembly solutions with or without armouring available on request.

Rosenberger RPC-TNC precision connectors feature threaded locking mechanism and are suitable for applications up to 18 GHz. Based on the BNC series interface, they are intermateable with standard TNC connectors, 50 Ω and 75 Ω types both. The wide product range includes cable connectors, adaptors and test & measurement accessories such as calibration kits or measurement equipment (open – short – load). Furthermore, variants for aviation and spaceflight applications are available.
