Rosenberger FAKRA* industry standard compatible connectors are designed to fulfill the rigorous mechanical and environmental requirements of the automotive industry. Ensuring maximum electrical and mechanical performance, these high quality FAKRA connectors feature specific color coded plastic housings in accordance with the FAKRA coding industry standard. Thirteen distinct mechanical and color codes enable easy identification and unique keying to avoid mis-mating and additional one neutral coding. Combining Rosenberger’s turned part production expertise and FAKRA SF stamped and formed technology these precision manufactured products are ideally suited for process-safe and fully automated assembly by harness makers – leading to a significant reduction in production costs. The RosenbergerHPD® universal multicore datalink connection system is optimized for data transmission up to 10 Gbps. In addition to high data performance, the centrally positioned power lane offers a power reserve of up to 100 W / 5 A – in combination with the cable shield as the ground lane. Providing data and power to complex systems through a single interface delivers several benefits including reduced costs and installation footprint. This robust, fully shielded connector is ideally suited to harsh environmental conditions, such as automotive applications, where frequent high data transmission and ampacity is required. Combined with Rosenberger’s specially designed multicore cable, featuring an optimized layout for low attenuation, virtually interference- and crosstalk-free performance is assured.

The Rosenberger NEX10® connector system meets the existing and future infrastructure efficiency demands of small cell applications and 5G mobile networks. For frequencies up to 20 GHz, the new robust and highly compact NEX10® interface standard provides safe, easy and damage-free connection while minimizing interference from PIM (Passive Intermodulation). Screw-type and a push-pull locking mechanism are available.
