The RS03 is designed and developed with emphasis on operability and usability where less force is required for the stripping process. Furthermore,equipped with new features such as large capacity battery for 600 stripping cycles, 6 times larger than conventional stripper, and wireless link with smartphones for operational parameters adjustment. These fiber stripping tools are also compatible with stripping Fujikura latest Spider Web RibbonTM ,which consists of optical fibers (with a coating diameter of 250μm or 200 μm) fixed intermittently.

The CT50 offers enhanced drop impact resistance compared to other existing cleavers and allows workers to replace the cleaving blade, providing customers with a drastic reduction in handling time and maintenance costs. The CT50 changes the position of the cleaving blade automatically and in accordance with the condition of the cleaving state of optical fibers on a fusion splicer through wireless communication. In addition,the CT50 can complete cleaving works including scrap collection, with a single-step.

AFL’s LZM-100 LAZERMaster is a glass processing and splicing system that uses a CO2 laser heat source rather than electrodes, ensuring repeatable performance and low maintenance, and eliminating electrode or filament maintenance and instability. Splicing or adiabatic tapering (to create mode field adapters or pump combiners) can be performed with glass diameters of 2.3 mm or less. The high resolution optical analysis system works in conjunction with on-board firmware for fully automatic splicing, tapering and other glass shaping processes.

AFL PowerStrip is a thermal stripper used in high strength splicing. Using the proven blade and centering design of the Schleuniger FiberStrip 7030 in addition to the fiber holder system, the AFL PowerStrip automatically centers the fiber, heats the buffer or coating, and strips the buffer at a controlled rate with perfect alignment. The fiber holder system reduces fiber handling, making this tool ideal for any production environment.
